1. What is Romanticism? (It has many definitions, and is many things.)
Romanticism is a kind of thinking or movement starting from the second half of the 18th century. It is a style that can be found in art, music, and literature. It focuses on intuition, imagination, and feelings.

2. How does your subject fit into the world of Romanticism (their work, their life)
Claude Debussy lived in the Romanticism period. When I listen to his music I feel he put a lot of imagination and feelings in his music. I can imagine a picture when I listen to his music. For example, when I listen to one of his pieces called ?Clair de lune,? I think it is really romantic and peaceful.

3. Are there elements or aspects of your subject that are not romantic in nature?
Some people said Debussy?s music style is impressionism, but he said that he was trying to do something different and it shouldn?t be labeled as ?impressionism? or ?romanticism?.

1. What was "impressionism" in painting?
Impressionism in painting is include visible brush strokes, open composition, emphasis on light, ordinary subject matter, the inclusion of movement as a crucial element of human perception and experience.

2. How did Debussy try to relate music to painting?
Debussy is trying to let people have a feeling about the a picture when they listen to music.

3. Do you believe he was successful? Why?
He become a famous composer, because when people listen to music people will have a special feeling and make people relax.

School boundaries

In citizenship class, I learn about boundaries and stereotype. People in every place have different type of culture. So we have many different boundaries in school. Like language, culture, how is look... Someone will feel hurt about it, so even have boundaries we still have show our respect.

" look at the person who is talking"

We watch a movie last class. that movie is cool, I saw a lot thing is cool and spacial have the egg make with the rock at anywhere at the beach or at the mountain. that man make a lot art but tell us
sometime he also folding mistake or the art can't done it.

Life after people

What would it be like if everybody suddenly disappeared except people in Taiwan? For example, what do Taiwese people import from other coutries?
I think Taiwanese will try to move to other country, and people will be fighting for the land. And there will be no order and friendship anymore.

Slavery Today

Slavery continues in different forms in almost every country in the world. People have different ideas on what is considered slavery. for example workers in low-wage jobs or inhumane working conditions. However modern-day slaves differ from these workers because they are forced to work under the threat of extreme violence.
A BBC program called Slavery Today explores some of the places where slavery is still common and takes a look at the fastest growing problem in modern slavery: trafficking people into the West.

My school goal for 2009

My holiday break

My holiday break:
One thing I did over break was sleep well, I spend 10~14 hour for sleep each day.
Another thing I did over break was play a lot sometime play video game or play with friend.
